Very nice vedio and information but one correction the statue u r referring to as Buddha in saffron color is actually a Jain tirthankar. If u Google for Jain tirthankar you will find the picture are same to what you r referring to as Buddha. The difference is in mudra or posture in which the statue will be.

I will clear out very important information here, that idol covered with saffron cloth is Jain idol not the buddha's. Mr. Gabriel please take note of this. For your kind information. Read about Jainism, your full life will go to understand Jain darshan.

So much camera movement… I started to feel sick…. Please stop the fast camera movement. I shouldn't have to take Dimenhydrinate (Gravol… Dramamine) motion sickness drug just to watch a video…
But magnificent place… I miss it very much…. and will return.

You had to make that remark for me to solicit a response from me bro. Appreciate your strenuous effort to provide a clear sense of history and detailed explanation and narration of the Angkor Temple Complex. A very well produced video. Truly informative and beyond my expectations. Thank you bro.

That was a crackup at the end when u said, ‘Aren’t u glad u get to just sit there in ur comfy seat at home without having to do anything, watching me hike around in the hot sun to show u this amazing site?’ U were talking directly to me when u said that. If it’s possible u should include your Cambodia and Guatemala sets of videos on your main YouTube ‘front page’ as they’re really good and deserve higher billing (and more views) maybe even with the feature added at the start that u now do on your vids where u focus in on a map where exactly u are. One final comment – I like that u do ‘improv’ on your tours as opposed to being ‘scripted’ – I like the vagabrothers, etc. but prefer your style. I and am sure your other fans can tell when you’re ‘stoked’ about where u r as opposed to being ‘non-plussed’. And then there are the middle group of places where it makes u go “hmmm” (like the song). Angkor Wat, though, Great stuff.

It's the redwoods of SE Asia, which stands as not only the supreme and largest religious monument of SE Asia, but also in the world. The Khmer language has the longest alphabet in the world. Siem Reap is translated into English as the sacking/invasion/over taking by the Siamese (aka present day Thais). The Khmer Empire (aka Cambodians) controlled, prospered, and governed the entire SE Asia peninsular before the creation of Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam (post colonization time period).

Two years later and that cat (@14:57) is still there! I went yesterday and also took a photo of him. All the same fur colours including the two black legs and the two little paw fingers on this front left leg. Small world
